Carved into the heart of the Iron-Grip Mountains, the Dwarven Abbey is not a place of quiet contemplation, but of fervent interpretation. Its vast halls are lined with stone tablets and metal scrolls, each detailing histories and prophecies derived from the visions of the Truthseekers. Founded after The Schism of Stone and Sky, the Abbey's purpose is to collate these fragmented 'discoveries' into a coherent reality. The Abbey's inhabitants, known as The Chroniclers, believe the Truthseekers are revealing the world's hidden past. At the Abbey's center rests The Sunstone of Aethelgard, an artifact said to focus the Truthseekers' visions. The Chroniclers are currently debating the meaning of a recent, cryptic discovery concerning The Whispering Runes, while trying to understand how it relates to the location of The Silent Forges and the prophecy of The Last Anvil. This work is complicated by tremors from below, hinting at renewed activity from the Shadow-Goblins.
